The Awesomes will treat comic book-style retcons as some kind of fad/tradition in the superhero genre.
Concierge actually DOES have a superpower, it's her organizational skills.
She's very detail-oriented— almost obsessively so— and may also be very good at math, which seems like a lame superpower, but could come surprisingly handy if the team is placed in a Batman-style death trap.The rest of the team will learn of Prock's time-freezing ability in season 4.
Or rather would have, if the show hadn't been cancelled.The Astoundings' powers are foreshadowing future power upgrades.
Even if they're the Awesomes' opposite-world selves, they still have some similarities in power, just different. Not to mention the fact that they already foreshadowed some future plot points. Infobitch is a member of the team and has weapons, like how Concierge eventually became an official superhero later on. The Conjurer could conjure things without his mother's face, like Impressario could in one episode.If you think about it, these upgrades could also be replicated, or make sense with the Awesomes:
- Prock's evil self uses technology to fight. Both Prock and Hot Wire are Gadgeteer Geniuses
- Tim could get scaled up or breathe fire as a Godzilla reference.
- Kid Meth had pyrokinesis; Frantic could probably use friction to start fires.
Prock & Hotwire's daughter inherited her dad's time-stopping power
Mr. Awesome isn't Prock's real father.
Prock only has about 3% of his father's DNA and only shares his immunity to mind control, which could possibly be just a coincidence. Considering his mother can be hypocritical and is still in love with her ex-husband, it wouldn't be too unreasonable to have cheated or put herself above her family out of spite for her husband.Prock will gain more superpowers in a future season
