- Larke became Twilight Sparkle, Shanelle became Rainbow Dash, Blaze became Applejack, Tara became Fluttershy, Jett became Pinkie Pie, and Bianca became Rarity.

Larke is tomboy to Bianca's girly girl
- The two girls happen to be the Betty and Veronica of the series. Larke enjoys keeping fit, and is better than Bianca at some sports other than surfing (Double Surfing Double Cross). Meanwhile, Bianca doesn't do exercise (her doctor won't allow to do anything that causes perspiration), and would rather lounge on some furniture than run a marathon.
- In the Death Valley 500, both girls were the drivers of their own cars. However, Larke's racing uniform was given less feminine colors than Bianca's
This shownote and Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills are set in the same universe.

The episode "Bianca's Diary" is set much earlier in the show's timeline than it's episode number (57) suggests.
- Everyone seems to find the idea of Pierce getting a date with Bianca very hard to swallow (even Pierce!), despite the fact that the two have been on several dates together at this point: they danced together in "Chase of a Lifetime", went on dates in "Pierce's Hundred Dollars", "Splitting Image" and "Jillian's Lesson" and have otherwise hung out several times. Also adding to the 'early' feel of the episode is that Troy has to explain what CAD is to Larke as if she is completely unfamiliar with Pierce's sapient PDA. CAD himself, while spilling Pierce's secrets, seems to be under the impression people really do buy into Pierce's ladykiller reputation rather than consider him a laughing stock as they do in every other episode. The only snag with this theory is that it requires Bianca to have forgiven Pierce enough to go out with him again in the other episodes, but even that is not impossible (she more or less forgives Wilshire immediately.)
The show is set in the same continuity as Miraculous Ladybug
- With Bianca and Wilshire being close relatives of Chloe and Sabrina, respectively.

- Bianca's vehicle in Chase of a Lifetime looks similar to one of MASK's vehicles.
