Vs. Dead Pixels is a mod for Friday Night Funkin', directed by Noveni, spawned off of a mockup animation of a scrapped Vs Sonic.exe song, "Burning". The mod is set to feature the director's own takes on various preexisting Original Generation EXE's from the mod and then some.
As of January 2023, only one song, "Burning", has been released, but the mod is set to have more according to a community post in Noveni's channel. Said song can be downloaded here

Tropes within the mod:
- Art Shift: "Burning" uses graphics based on the 16-bit Genesis games, and Boyfriend, as well as the UI, have their artstyle changed to match the graphics.
- Decomposite Character: The mod adds Sonic's reanimated corpse to the song "Burning", who plays the "calm" vocals of the song, whilst the actual Genesys only plays the "aggressive" vocals.
- Interface Screw: Since "Burning" has Boyfriend go up against two opponents that also change places a lot throughout the song, Boyfriend's strumline will move to the left or the right, opposite to the side the opponent that's singing is currently on, or to the center, if both
- Recycled Soundtrack: As of the release of Burning - Nove Take, the titular song is a scrapped song from Vs Sonic.exe, reused in this mod.
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Despite Sonic's reanimated corpse supposedly going up against Boyfriend just like Genesys, at times, he also goes after Genesys too by jumping on him. Genesys even reciporates this by KO'ing Sonic at the end of the song.
