This game provides examples of:
- Atomic Superpower: Atoms can be used to buy powerful upgrades.
- Challenge Run: Demon Souls challenges require you to reach a certain upgrade while points, essences, cores, and other layers are reduced.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Each node has its own colour, per the norm for Prestige Tree mods:
- Essence: Bright green
- Cores: Yellow
- Quarks: Magenta
- Hexes: Orange-red
- Subatomic Particles: Dark blue
- Demon Souls: Maroon
- Atoms: Blue
- Prayers: Light pink
- Sanctums: Florescent yellow
- Relics: Bronze
- Molecules: Turquoise
- Good Influence: Teal
- Evil Influence: Light red
- Wars: Gray
- Cellular Life: Dark green
- Multicellular Organisms: Lime green
- Chaos: Rainbow-coloured
- God Needs Prayer Badly: The Prayers layer generates "divinity" based on this concept to boost points.
- Light 'em Up: Relic activations can transform point production into light production, and getting enough light provides boosts.
- Mutually Exclusive Power Ups: At first, Atom upgrades can only be bought from one path on its tech tree. Subverted later on with the Atom milestone that allows you to buy upgrades on the other paths.
- Soul Power: Demon Souls can be used to power up the Demonic Energy buyable, which increases hexes.
