The Master's Plan is Doomed
If the Vault Dweller is able to find evidence of Super Mutants being incapable of reproduction due to the effects of the Forced Evolutionary Virus, they can then present it to the Master to convince him that his Evil Plan of turning everyone into Super Mutants would not even work in his favor. This revelation causes the Master to realize just how wrong he was over everything he has done and opts to destroy himself along with his lair out of regret.
