The Molly Z is a troper from Middle-of-Nowhere, Alabama, USA. They have never really fit in. They are known for being a theatre geek and a bit of an oddball. When not performing, They have a blunt and open nature. They detest their hometown, and they can't wait to finally leave.
Their childhood was relatively boring, save for growing up with a black sheep of a best friend. The Molly Z and said best friend were constantly ridiculed for their various interests. Their best friend eventually moved away in sixth grade.
The first half of high school for The Molly Z was tedious and rather depressing. The second half, though, was a whirlwind of high school drama and well Drama. They made some of their best friends in their junior and senior years. They also became much more self-confident and outspoken thanks to their English teacher.
The Molly Z just finished their last year at college. When they first started, they had doubts about attending the college they chose. They often wondered if they would fit into the Southern Baptist Christian Community. They didn't, but it was okay. Perhaps not oddly enough, they fit in with the rest of the students, if not the faculty and staff. This may be mostly because it is a women's college full of rather unusual women. This is especially obvious in their group of friends they fondly referred to as the Orphans. All of them have nicknames.
