• Channel Hop: The publisher is now Focus Home Interactive instead of SEGA. The developer is now Saber Interactive instead of Relic.
• Meaningful Release Date: The game will be released on September 9, 2024, which is the same month that the first game was released. September 9 was also when it was released in Europe.
• The Other Darrin: Titus in the first game was voiced by Mark Strong. The second game has him replaced with Clive Standen.
• Promoted Fanboy: During its announcement in the game awards, Clive Standen stated that he used to play Warhammer 40,000 as a child with his brother, and expressed that playing Titus is a dream come true.
• Refitted for Sequel: The idea of a Co-op Campaign was an idea that was teased in a very early trailer of the first game (though it teased 4 player Co-op instead of 3 player Co-op).
• Sequel Gap: Developed after over a decade since the first game.
