  • Accidentally Correct Zoology: The Snow Beast from "A Scary Night With a Snow Beast Fright" is a dinosaur covered in fuzz. In the 1970s. Before the discoveries that many dinosaurs had body coverings of feathers. That's right, one of the first feathered dinosaurs ever to appear in fiction was in a Scooby-Doo episode.
  • Acting for Two:
    • Don Messick voices Scooby-Doo, Pa Skillet and some one-off characters.
    • Casey Kasem voices Shaggy Rogers and Mr. Shagworthy.
  • Missing Episode: Several episodes from the final season ("A Menace in Venice," "Don't Go Near the Fortress of Fear," and "The Beast is Awake in Bottomless Lake") got skipped over from broadcast syndication for reasons unknown. Some think this was perhaps because they were an Old Shame or given that they were the end of the run the package they were selling at the time called for was shorter than the season original order. They would eventually return when Cartoon Network began airing the series.
    • Although now the second season of this series still is without an official dvd release. A few have appeared on smaller compilation sets.
    • HBO Max has every single episode available on it, though they have all been grouped into a single season.
  • No Budget: Even compared to previous Scooby-Doo incarnations.
  • The Other Darrin: Velma is now voiced by Pat Stevens, as Nicole Jaffe retired after The New Scooby-Doo Movies ended. Jaffe would return for the two direct-to-video films released in 2003.
