• Corpsing: At various points in the Prison Mike scene, you can see John Krasinski, B.J. Novak, Phyllis Smith, and even Steve Carell (after he says "No, not Harry Potter") smirking and trying their hardest not to bust out laughing. In the Office Ladies podcast, Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey confirmed that the scene took a huge number of takes because everyone had trouble not breaking.
• What Could Have Been: A Confession Cam segment with Michael was scripted but not included in the final episode, where he explained that the origin of Prison Mike was a school assembly he attended as a kid, in which someone dressed as Woodsy Owl told the audience to "give a hoot, don't pollute." Michael notes that he in fact never polluted again, and concluded that the best way to get people to listen to you is to wear a costume or talk in a different voice. The scene would later be included in the Extended Cut available on Peacock.
