• California Doubling: Though the exteriors were shot in London, almost all the interiors (bar the pub/club scenes) were shot in California.
• Troubled Production: During the sex scene, Coral Browne and Susannah York were very uncomfortable about it, to the point that, between takes, York had to eat grapes to stop herself from vomiting, before Aldrich finally decided to shot both actors separately.
