• Casting Gag: This isn't the first (or even second) time Yvette Nicole Brown has voiced a Big Friendly Dog.
• Release Date Change: The series was originally scheduled to premiere in 2020, but was later delayed to 2021, most likely due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
• Screwed by the Network: Despite being heavily hyped up before its premiere, The Chicken Squad received mixed-to-negative reviews from viewers, parents, and critics. Some of its main criticisms included the poor animation, childish tone, and stereotypical characters. At the time if its airing, it was often regarded as the worst Disney Junior show of its time. It currently has a 5.8/10 on IMDb.
  • Not even Disney Junior was happy with the show. On April 29, 2022, they cancelled it after only one season. It implies that they hate the show as well. One year later, the series was removed off of Disney+ as a tax write-off.
