Trivia / Tad, the Lost Explorer

• Celebrity Voice Actor:
  • Tad's sidekick in the first film, Freddy, is voiced by comedian José Mota. In the Catalonian dub, Freddy is voiced by José Corbacho of Homo Zapping fame, and in the American English dub he is voiced by Cheech Marin of all people.
  • The sequel adds Adriana Ugarte as Tiffany Maze, and changes Corbacho's role as the taxi driver, this time talking in Spanish.
• Directed by Cast Member: Miguel Ángel Jenner, who voices the villainous Kopponen, directed the dub of the film. It's the only dub he has directed in a long time.
• Same Language Dub: Due to the Spaniard accents, Latin America got their own dub with a different cast.
• Real-Life Relative: In the Spanish dub, Michelle Jenner and her father Miguel Ángel Jenner voice two characters in the film.
• Working Title: The third film was originally titled Tad the Lost Explorer: The Curse of the Mummy upon announcement.
• You Look Familiar: More like you sound familiar. Miguel Ángel Jenner voiced Kopponen in the first film and then voiced Jack Rackham, the Big Bad of the sequel.
