  • Chart Displacement: Their sole entry on the Billboard is "Cheapskate", peaking at #35 on the Alternative charts. Though it isn't as well remembered as "Alright" is.
  • Creator Breakdown: The Road to Rouen was a rough period from the band, with Gaz and Rob Coombes having to deal with the death of their mother and Goffey's personal struggles, which are reflected on the album.
  • One-Hit Wonder: In the United States, "Alright" is their most popular song despite the Chart Displacement above, having constant airplay on MTV and college radio and being used in a lot of other media afterwards.
  • Rarely Performed Song: Their big hit "Alright" is barely performed in recent band reunions. Although Gaz Coombes seems to still be fond of the song, he states that it doesn't reflect them nowadays since they're not young anymore — he's joked that if they did play it live, it would have to be a Softer and Slower Cover with the lyrics rewritten in the past tense ("We were young, we ran green" etc).
  • What Could Have Been:
    • After seeing the music video of "Alright", Steven Spielberg approached the band in order to create a television show based on the band on the same vein as The Monkees. The band turned down the offer in favour to record their second album, In It for the Money.
    • In 2010, they announced plans for their seventh album, tentatively titled Release the Drones, inspired by drone and krautrock bands like Can and had the members swapping instruments on each song. It was scheduled for a May release but due to the band's dissolution a month earlier, it'll likely never see the light of day.
