Trivia / Silver Crisis

Go To

  • Acting for Two:
    • Tigura21 plays both Ike and Bowser in the original machinima.
    • SonicMega played both the PokeDex and Lucario in the original machinima.
    • Angelglory played both Mario and Pokemon Trainer Blue in the fifth episode of the original machinima.
  • Approval of God: MegaBlasta gave his blessing for Silver Crisis: The Animation, a short by TheHedgehogEngine re-creating the fight scene between Silver, Lucario, Lucas, and Sonic in Chapter 9.
  • Conclusion in Another Medium: The original Brawl machinima only managed to get to Episode 5 (with a preview for Episode 6) before it was cancelled. The series would get adapted into a full-length visual novel that would tell its entire story, including the Episodes that were already adapted into Machinima form.
  • The Other Darrin:
    • In the original machinima, Lucas was voiced by MegaBlasta himself. The Visual Novel would have his Suddenly Voiced lines where he awakens his true potential in a machinimated cutscene be voiced by Speedjolt (aka. Kellen Goff, who voiced Ness in the original Machinima). Silver Crisis: The Animation would have Lucas voiced by Ed Seymour.
    • The original machinima had Lucario voiced by Sean Chiplock (who was credited under his alias of SonicMega at the time). Silver Crisis: The Animation has Lucario voiced by Datvoicethough.
    • The original machinima had this happen to Silver — he was initially voiced by SnakeyDude in Episodes 1-4, before he was recasted. Silver Crisis: The Animation has him voiced by Nick S. of TheBoneHeadClan.
    • Shippiddge of Smashtasm fame originally played Mario in Episodes 2-3, though would switch to being voiced by Angelglory in Episode 5.
    • Sonic's appearance in the visual novel uses a combination of clips recorded by Jason Griffith and Shadowlink4321, while Silver Crisis: The Animation has him played by RedWay6697.
  • Two Voices, One Character:
    • Sonic in the visual novel uses a combination of recycled clips from Jason Griffith's performance in Brawl, along with some newly recorded ones by Shadowlink4321 for his transformation into Dark Sonic.
    • Bowser uses not only his stock roars from various Mario games and Super Smash Bros., but also has supplemental foley and grunts provided by Tigura21.
    • To a lesser extent, Lucas, who uses recycled clips from Brawl portrayed by Lani Minella, along with some voiced lines by Speedjolt/Kellen Goff for one cutscene in the visual novel.
