• Corpsing: Jason Alexander and Julia Louis-Dreyfus can been seen trying their hardest not to laugh at the end of the episode when the car doesn't start.
• Method Acting: Michael Richards was adamant that his air conditioner box contain an actual air conditioner to properly fatigue himself.
• Technology Marches On: If George had a cellphone, he probably would've been able to call his parents and tell them he wouldn't have made it back on time. Not only that, he could have had electronic tickets that he could have forwarded to them so that they could see the show even if he couldn't (or have the theatre reprint the tickets and hold them at will call). Furthermore, many smartphones today automatically track the position of your car as soon as you park it, not to mention the ability to put the parking spot in your Notes app rather than on a pad, snap a picture of the parking spot using the phone's camera, call an Uber when things got really bad...
• Throw It In!: The original ending was for them to find the car at the end, drive off, but then be unable to find the exit to the mall. The car instead refused to start. Deciding that was funnier, they used that as the ending instead. You can see Jason Alexander and Julia Louis-Dreyfus struggling not to laugh.
