- Acting for Two: Masako Nozawa voiced both hermits. This is averted in the dub where two different actors (Dorothy Elias-Fahn and Mona Marshall) play them.

- Steve Kramer voiced Mataichi (as well as directed the dub) while his wife Melora Harte voiced a few background characters.
