• Adored by the Network: A very rare case where a show gets lifted from Nicktoons very quickly in order to premiere on the main network. Nick began experimenting with its audience and premiering episodes on different days and times in order to improve its performance. And the best part? The ratings got even better (one episode got in the millions, and did better than its competitor, Unikitty!). Well, only briefly.
  • Its Canadian broadcaster, Family Channel is loving it it even more than Nick, as Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty, alongside with Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese, Johnny Test, Grizzy and the Lemmings, and Miraculous Ladybug fill up most of the network's schedule, pretty much making them the channel's main darlings, even after the show stopped airing on both Nickelodeon and Nicktoons in America, it still shows up a lot on Family Channel's schedule.
• Dueling Shows: With Unikitty!, which also involves a unicorn-kitten hybrid.
• Screwed by the Network: After the sneak peek premiere aired on Nickelodeon the show would automatically be passed down to Nicktoons, with new episodes premiering weeknights at 9 PM, causing its ratings to plummet hard.
  • This happened again when the show was shunted back to Nicktoons in June 2019. In either mid or late December, it stopped airing on Nicktoons completely and has not been seen or renewed for a second season since.
