  • Acclaimed Flop: The show received solid reviews by critics and the esports fans who did watch it, but in part due to a limited advertising campaign punctuated by a botched announcement trailer, the show didn't get enough hits on Paramount+ or on YouTube, which may have been responsible for why they were pulled from both.
  • Channel Hop: The show was created for Paramount+, but it was suddenly removed from the service in February 2023. While the show did end up being released for free on YouTube in December 2022, the uploads have also since become private. The show has since made its way onto Amazon's Prime Video and Apple TV+.
  • Invisible Advertising: Despite being backed by Paramount, made in partnership with Riot Games, and being produced by the makers of the highly successful American Vandal, the show came and went with surprisingly limited fanfare. Even with Riot, who used their platforms of League of Legends and the actual pro League scene to massively hype up efforts like Arcane barely made notice of this show's existence.
