- Approval of God: The author seems to like so much the fanarts and parodies of its Fanime, as seen on its DeviantArt's favourites page
and in this video
.
- Cross-Dressing Voices: Hitoshi and Bokutachi-san are actually probably voiced by women, albeit pitched-down to sound more masculine.
- Unintentional Period Piece: The series was very much a product of its time, with cliches and characters archetypes (such as Cat Girls, which stopped being the primary source of animal eared girls in mainstream otaku culture towards the end of that decade) that parodied those of the anime and manga of the early 2000s, in addition to the music choices (Dance Dance Revolution and *NSYNC, for starters) referencing what was popular at the time. In fact, most of the things parodied in the series peaked years before 2010.
- What Could Have Been: Dolce-chan was a character that was supposed to be Koneko-chan's sister, but the episode, and her character, was cut due to a supposed feud with the voice actress for Dolce-chan.
