• Playing Against Type: A looping version. He was a face in Progress, as he was in other places, then turned heel, started to be used as a heel everywhere else, then turned back face after he was used as a heel everywhere and became a heel again. Rinse and repeat.
• Real Life Writes the Plot: Due to an exclusivity clause in Will Ospreay's Ring of Honor contract, their PROGRESS match in March had to become a Loser Leaves Town match. He came back at the end of the year after the contract ran out.
• Real Song Theme Tune:
  • "I Hope You Suffer", by AFI, was his entrance theme for some time.
  • "Psychotic Euphoric", by Silent Descent, is his entrance theme in ICW and Defiant.
  • "We Don't Care", by Katalina Kicks, for the trailer for his match against Primate for the Hardcore Title at Defiant's #WeAreDefiant.
• Role-Ending Misdemeanor: In a fashion. All Elite Wrestling released him, alongside Bea Priestly and Sadie Gibbs. Unlike the latter two, who were let go due to travel restrictions, Havoc was targeted by allegations of domestic abuse, rape and physical assault on a fan in light of the Speaking Out movement.
• What Could Have Been:
  • His heel entrance in PROGRESS was going to be "Let Em Come" by Scrobius Pip. The theme song was used for Paul Robinson, instead.
  • Due to injury, he was forced to drop out of his Defiant Hardcore Title defense at Unstoppable, forcing the title to be awarded to Damian Dunne (who quickly rebranded it the "No Fun" Title) and the match itself to be changed to Dunne vs. HT Drake.
