• Creator Backlash: Jessica Alba has been vocal about how much she disliked working on the film. A lot of scenes were shot behind her back with a double wearing a bikini, forcing her to spend most of it not wearing much clothes. She also signed on to play a marine biologist, which was re-written as a recreational diver after Alba signed on, as an excuse to get her to wear a bikini.
• Executive Meddling: The trailer had to be edited to meet US moral views - giving Jessica Alba a "less revealing" bikini.
• Those Two Actors: Ashley Scott previously worked with Jessica Alba on Dark Angel (and at least here we know why her character disappears before the end).
