Trivia / Insane Clown Posse

Go To

  • Approval of God: The group loved SNL's parody of "Miracles".
  • Blooper: Every Mighty Death Pop bonus album (as well as the album itself) has the final track of each release being multiple outtakes recorded during the songs' recordings.
  • Bonus Material: The Wraith albums had two bonus discs for certain releases of the albums:
    • Shangri-La had a recording of the 2002 GOTJ (Gathering Of The Juggalos) on some releases, and a music video for "Thy Unveiling" on others.
    • Hells Pit had a 3D short film based on a song from the album (Even sharing the name with the song) named Bowling Balls on some releases, and other releases had a Concert DVD with a music video for "Real Underground Baby" as a bonus.
  • Colbert Bump: Around 2021, the songs "In My Room" and "Chop Chop Slide" became increasingly popular on TikTok, resulting in a large community boost thanks to those songs.
    • A lot of fans of the group also came in thanks to the duo being a plot point in Homestuck.
  • Cut Song: This is the entire concept of Forgotten Freshness, an album showcase of rare, scrapped, or alternate songs, commercials, and skits.
  • Defictionalization: "The Shaggy Show," originally a song on The Amazing Jeckel Brothers, became an Internet series.
  • Fan Community Nicknames: "Juggalos" and, less commonly, "Ninjas".
  • First Appearance: Zug Izland actually released their first ever song under Insane Clown Posse's Forgotten Freshness Volume 3. The song would end up making it onto the band's debut album.
  • Missing Episode: While the three albums under the Inner City Posse moniker have been released commercially, there are three other releases of singles that have yet to be found that have surfaced online.
  • Schedule Slip: The third Yum Yum Seed EP album, Woh, was planned to release on October 31st, 2022. Such a thing didn't happen, with the Bloody Sunday single releasing instead. Woh was planned to release again sometime in December, but it became clear that Woh was a late bloomer and it finally released in July, 2023..
  • The Pete Best: Did you know that ICP once had a third member?
    • This is not even getting into D-Lyrical, who only appeared a few times on one Inner City Posse album. He would later be a guest on ICP's podcast almost 30 years later, and it went as awkwardly as you would expect.
  • Promoted Fanboy:
    • Greez-E, who was a fan of the group, got to appear in their EP, Beverly Kills 50187.
    • The group loves Professional Wrestling, and became wrestlers in the WWE for a while in the late '90s under the name "The Oddities".
  • The Red Stapler: If you've heard of Faygo soft drink and you're not from the Midwest, then it's probably because you're either a juggalo or you've otherwise heard of how much ICP loves the stuff, referencing it in their songs and spraying the crowd with it at concerts. They've spoken about collaborating with Faygo on an officially-licensed limited edition product run, but Faygo, wishing to avoid direct association with a famously raunchy group, has always politely refused.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • Violent J was offered a role in the movie Prison Song, sans face paint. He turned it down because the role the producers wanted him to play was a racist bigot.
    • Originally legendary Detroit rapper Awesome Dre was set to record a verse on the song "Taste", but he was replaced with Esham at the last minute, as Dre was running late and Esham, already there, offered to do the verse for the same payment.
