• Screwed by the Lawyers: The reason why the cast of this game has very few returning characters. The legal dispute between Arc System Works and Sega was still ongoing at the time, and Sega still owned the rights to most of the cast.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Joji Nakata takes over as Sol from this game onwards.
  • That Man is voiced by Tomokazu Sugita instead of Yasunori Masutani.
  • Raven is voiced by Hiroki Yasumoto instead of Shigeru Sakano.
