Trivia / Giulietta

Go To

  • Breakthrough Hit: "Dirty House Music", arguably.
  • Development Hell: Her third album took a while to produce, and there will be a significant gap between Bandit and her next album, whenever that will come out.
  • Dye Hard: A natural brunette, her hair has been electric red for most of her early career. From 2011-2015 it was varying shades pink and from 2015 onwards it’s remained bleached blonde.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: XXVI has become excruciatingly hard to find as it has been pulled from streaming services and iTunes. Since the song “Soldier” got carried over onto the “Bandit” album, one can assume that XXVI is either an Old Shame or has a Screwed by the Lawyers story behind it.
  • Limited Special Collector's Ultimate Edition / Feelies: At one point in 2012, you could purchase the album 911: Code Pink as a hard copy with a bonus keyring and a choice of three sweatshirts.
  • The Merch: Oh yes, even unsigned artists have official merchandising these days. Prior to the deluxe packages of her second album being released, you could buy Giulietta-branded hats, shirts and singlets.
  • Saved from Development Hell: 911: Code Pink was originally slated to be released on November 19, 2011, but was then pushed back multiple times (Giulietta stated that this was due to re-recording some of the tracks). It was eventually released on July 12, 2012.
  • Sleeper Hit: "Dirty House Music", recorded in 2007 and released in 2008 but not really making much of an impact until 2009.
