• Promoted Fanboy:
  • As a young lad, Ed listened to Eminem to help himself get over his stutter. Years later, he gets to collaborate with him to produce "River."
  • He's a fan of Westlife and jumped at the chance to be able to produce their comeback singles.
• Reclusive Artist: He became this around 2016-2017 for his album Divide. He quit using Twitter and stayed off his phone for a good few months, choosing to spend his time meeting up with friends and family to find inspiration.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Ed wrote "Little Things" with the intention of performing it himself, but One Direction wound up recording it first. However, he recently performed it live.
  • Inversely, he originally wrote "Shape Of You" for Rihanna, but his manager said his performance was fine and he should record it himself.
