- Acting for Two:
- Lance and Cally's actors (Alex House and Paula Brancati) also provide the voices of Blaze & Violet, and play them upon their respective escapes into the real world.
- Sage's actress, Danielle Miller, did double duty as her and her Evil Twin in Season 2's "Through a Glass Darkly".
- Creator's Oddball: The series is this for Cookie Jar Entertainment, as they mostly do animated shows, and rarely any live action. They even more rarely ever do shows aimed towards teenagers, as most of their catalog consists of Edutainment shows.
- Dawson Casting: Despite playing twins in the show, Alex House is actually three years older than Paula Brancati. During the first season, when both Cally and Lance are stated to be 15-year-olds, House was already 18. This is even more noticeable in season 2, which despite taking place only a few months after the end of the first season, House was 20.
- Averted with Paula Brancati, who actually was 15 years old during filming and airing of season 1.
- Technology Marches On - Computers / Artistic License: in "The Game" (Season 2, Episode 4) Lance is shown playing his game at school on his laptop. While Wi-Fi existed when the series was filmed and set, it was in its infancy so there is no way that Lance could play his MMORPG on his laptop without an ethernet cable.
