- Acting for Two: Peter Reneday voices both Henry and Max.
- Cut Song: When the Walt Disney World version was renovated in 2012, "Pretty Little Devilish Mary" and "Fractured Folk Song" were deleted for time along with much of the dialog between segments.
- The Other Darrin: Bill Lee provided the voice of Melvin in the original show. In Vacation Hoedown, Melvin is instead voiced by Frank Welker.
- What Could Have Been:
- The show was originally designed for a ski resort that Walt Disney was developing that would've been called Mineral King.
- Tennessee was originally named "Lemonade".
- When the Disneyland version of the attraction was set to close, a couple of Imagineers designed a dark ride starring the Bears as a last ditch attempt to keep them in the park called the "Critter Country 500", featuring the bears Wacky Racing. Alas, park management rejected it.
- It was rumored that if the Country Bears film based on this attraction had been a success, they would possibly retheme the attraction to be more like the film itself, but the idea was scrapped due to the aforementioned film's critical and box office failure.
