  • Crossdressing Voices: In the Japanese dub, Alejandro is voiced by Yumiko Kobayashi.
  • Multiple Languages, Same Voice Actor: Ashley Ciarra and Nickolas Verdugo dubs themselves as Luna and Memo respectively in the Latin American Spanish dub. Oddly enough, Demián Bichir (Chava), despite being Mexican and also having voice acting experience, doesn't, being voiced by Rafael Pacheco instead.
  • No Dub for You: Due to the film taking place mostly in Mexico and by Netflix's own policies, the film lacks an European Spanish dub, being the Latin American dub used in its place. However, the dub did got dubs in other Spaniard languages, like Galician, Basque and Catalonian.
  • Playing Against Type: Also overlapping with Hilarious in Hindsight at the same time in the Japanese dub: Chava is voiced by Fumihiko Tachiki, a voice actor well-known for voicing manipulative or outright evil parental figures, being his most notorious role in that regard Gendo Ikari. In this film, however, he is voicing a loving grandfather who tries to help his grandson by using his luchador skills.
