  • Acting for Two: The Finnish dub had a rather limited cast of only six different actors, only one of them was a woman, meaning that this happens by default whenever Romy is talking to another female character.
  • Completely Different Title: The first series in Finland is simply Around the world in 80 days leaving the "Willy Fog" bit out of it. The sequel series have two different titles since it was split into two series; The journey into center of the earth and The sea voyage with Captain Nemo.
  • Cross-Dressing Voice:
    • Tico, a guy, is often dubbed by actresses (e.g. in the Portuguese and Czech version, also in the Polish and the Finnish compilation movie).
    • Inspector Dix, a guy, is voiced by actress in the Finnish compilation movie.
  • Dueling Dubs: In Poland series was dubbed three times (even four, if you count in compilation movie) – in 1987, 1995 and 2007. The first two versions are basically lost, except few excerpts.
  • No Export for You: The series was only released on DVD in Europe, mainly UK. Only much later it became available for digital purchase through Amazon.
  • Non-Singing Voice: In the French dub, Fogg is voiced by Michel Barouille in the theme song.
