• Keep Circulating the Tapes: In May 2017, five years after the comic's unceremonious end in 2012, the original website went down. It's still possible to read, but only via fanmade mirrors.
• Schedule Slip: Contributed to the webcomic's end. By the time the Shibuya Shore arc (a Jersey Shore parody) started, Jersey Shore humor was already becoming dated. Then the schedule slip kicked in, and it stretched until Jersey Shore had been off the air for two years while the Shibuya Shore arc was roughly half over. This was a big contributing factor in Duke's decision to stop the comic.
• Word of God: Duke usually answered questions about unnecessary trivia on a now-defunct Formspring account, such as the full names of Larxene (Larxene Jones) and Marluxia (Martin Luxia Queenly); also, "Sora" is the character's only name. Shortly before ending the comic he stated that Darth Maul is Marluxia's boyfriend on it.
