Trivia / Animal Mechanicals

• Amateur Cast: With the primary exception of Lenore Zann as Island Owl, this show is the only film/television credit of note for all the characters' voice actors (all Halifax-based actors), most of whom mainly do local theater.
• Follow the Leader: It's pretty obvious the show took a lot of inspiration from Bob the Builder: the theme song is a rock (or heavy metal) one and the Animal Mechanicals' "Mechana can we do it?" is similar to Bob's signature "Can we fix it?".
