As awesome as seeing every Pretty Cure come together on the big screen, there are some moments where tears will be shed.

- The end of the third movie, where the Cures have to part from their fairy counterparts as the price for one last power boost to defeat Black Hole. Thankfully a new Prism Flower is seen nearing full bloom, allowing the Cures to regain their powers and reunite with their fairies.
- Nozomi's farewell to her dreamworld in New Stage 3.
- Separated and demoralized, Miracle and Magical lament their powerlessness against the overpowering adversaries and the large shoes they have to fill as Precure as they cling to each other's non-existent presence in Miraculous Magic.The entire world is on the line…
…while all I can do is failure. - In HUGtto! PreCure ♥ Futari wa PreCure: All-Stars Memories, Hana ends up succumbing to despair over the seeming hopelessness of her friends being rendered amnesiac babies. When Harry tells her to stop crying, Nagisa tells him off before succumbing to it as well.
- All Stars F: The deaths of all the Pretty Cure. Just having to watch as they fall onto a rock that floats over the Earth below, motionless, their attacks barely scratching the Big Bad. The most horrific thing is that there's no waving of the Miracle Lights, just the grim inevitability of their defeat, with the following shot being Supreme obliterating the entire planet.
