Character who is notorious for killing cops
- Anime.Lupin III Part 5: Jigen kills a lot of police officers near the end of the series. To be fair, they attempted to kill him first.
Other correct use
- Anime.Ghost In The Shell Stand Alone Complex: A plainclothes officer named Yamaguchi working the Laughing Man case is killed in what appears to be a car accident. Until Section 9 learns that the accident was engineered by the bad guys in the first season in order to prevent another investigation of the case.
- Anime.Hero Mask: Grimm kills at least a dozen cops during his introductory scene. Later on, the unnamed killers have no problem gunning their way through a hospital full of cops (and potential witnesses) to try to get to a target.
- Anime.Hi Speed Jecy: Cross has no qualms about attacking a patrol ship with lethal force and sending it into a field of the WMD phantom space.

- SWAT Team: The ISS has SWAT teams stationed there. However, the bone armored monster makes short work of them that by the time the survivors (including Kōichi Doi) were able to escape, most of them died and the lone survivor died in the explosion of the reentry tube in an effort to kill it after attaching an explosive on its leg.
- Anime.Wizard Barristers: Numerous times, the National Police Agency finds itself losing police officers in the line of duty since none of them are magic users; the law does not allow anyone with magic powers to hold a public office.
