The Bears each have a misadventure as a hurricane hits the city.

- Charlie's animal friends include the snake from "Charlie and the Snake" and the deer with the broken antler from "Citizen Tabes".
- Chloe tries to use Buddy Ride, last seen in "Bear Lift", to get a ride home, but can't get a signal because of the storm.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Ice Bear is willing to stand in front of a subway train in order to protect Chloe. Thankfully, the train stops before it hits them.
- Hyperlink Story: Professor Lampwick points out that the bears' separate plots are interconnected. The kite from Grizz's story hits the car where Panda and Charlie are, causing it to crash into an electrical tower, causing a blackout that saves Ice Bear and Chloe from getting hit by a train.
- The Last Straw: As the car dangles over a steep incline, a bunny reaching over to pick up a cheese puff on the dashboard causes it to tip and send it careening downhill.
- Parachute Petticoat: Wallace recklessly tries to fly her kite in the storm, when the wind picks her up by her raincoat and nearly blows her away.
- Rollerblade Good: Chloe and Ice Bear were skating at a roller rink when the storm hits. When they end up in the subway track and the train approaches, Ice Bear puts Chloe's skates on his front paws to roller-skate ahead of the train.
- This Is Gonna Suck: When Charlie's car-house is about to tip over and go down a steep slope, Panda mutters "Oh, beans..."
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Panda freaks out when Charlie lets his snake friend into the car, along with other animals (including several more snakes). Later, the first snake saves Panda's life by unbuckling his seat belt when the car is about to crash.
