The First Monster Appears!

A massive monster with huge horns has suddenly appeared. That monster is Deathdrago, the first monster that appeared before humanity six years ago. Faced with Deathdrago’s return, Akito seems to have gone a little strange. What connection could there be between Akito and the monster that begins it all!? And will Kengo be able to make Akito smile!?
Tropes
- Beam Spam: This is Deathdrago's main method of attack and it proves quite troublesome for Trigger to handle.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Akito's and Yuna's fight against Darrgon goes poorly as nothing they do harms Darrgon meaningfully only getting to slow him down a couple of times before he quickly recovers his ground and continues his path towards them. The only reason Yuna doesn't gets taken away by Darrgon there and then is thanks to her standing up to him, which earns her Darrgon's respect.
- Fair-Play Villain: In spite of being able to simply grow giant and take Yuna without much resistance, Darrgon opts to turn human-sized and fight her and Akito on even terms.
- Hopeless Boss Fight: Darrgon's bout with Akito and Yuna is this, even their best efforts don't do anything besides pushing him back for a few seconds. It's only Yuna standing up to him even with all odds against her that prevents Darrgon from kidnapping and taking her to the Dark Giants.
- The Juggernaut: Darrgon, even human sized, shrugs off everything Yuna and Akito throw at him eventually cornering them with no escape in a hopeless fight... Until Yuna slaps him and earns his respect, that is.
- Pet the Dog: Darrgon leaves Akito and Yuna alone after the latter stands up to him in spite of him having delivered a massive Curb-Stomp Battle to them seconds ago.
- The Reveal:
- Chairman Shizuma, a young Akito and his parents secretly developed a functioning version of the GUTS Wing to fight the threat of Kaiju and the Dark Giants. Shizuma himself piloted the machine to fight against Deathdrago and blew one of its horns off causing the beast to retreat.
- Akito's parents were killed by Deathdrago when he was younger, leaving him to be adopted by Chairman Shizuma.
- Super-Empowering: Carmeara empowers Deathdrago after the monster retreats following its first battle against Trigger, giving it bright red eyes and stronger beams.
- Villain Respect: Yuna earns Darrgon's respect by standing up to him and slapping him even as all hope seemed lost for her and Akito, enough to leave her and Akito be for the time being.
- Wham Episode: The episode reveals a lot of details about Akito's past by revealing his parents died when he was younger which shaped him into the somewhat cold and aloof person he is nowadays and starts hinting more towards Shizuma's mysterious past by showcasing that he built a replica of a GUTS Wing to fight Deathdrago with.
- You Killed My Father: Akito's reasons for wanting to fight Deathdrago no matter the cost is because both his parents were killed fighting it when he was younger, leaving him an orphan until Mr. Shizuma adopted him.
