• Absurdly Long Stairway: Evac's hideout in the desert has a pretty long staircase leading up to it.
  Crosswise: Man! This is a lot of stairs!
• Aerial Canyon Chase: Evac's pursuit of the fleeing Sideways leads them into a canyon.
• Demoted to Extra: Landmine and Leobreaker are silent the whole episode.
• Oh, Crap!: Sideways when Evac blows his cover.
• Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Sideways does this twice. First when Evac blows his cover and exposes him to Crosswise, and again shortly afterward after getting blasted by Evac's Cyber Key Power missiles.
  Sideways: That's it! If you're not gonna play nice, I'm outta here!
• Taking the Bullet: Optimus takes a blast from Starscream that was meant for Crosswise and Evac.
• The Cavalry Arrives Late: Scattorshot doesn't make it to the battlefield until moments after it's been called off due to Optimus getting injured.
• We Will Meet Again: After the battle is called off when Optimus is injured by Starscream, Hot Shot assures him that it's not over.
  Hot Shot: This isn't over! We'll stop you yet, Starscream!
