Harold uncovers a secret plot that Chef's new parrot is hatching and tries to save his teacher only to discover that Sugar figured it out before him. Or did she?


Tropes:

  • Accidental Hero: Sugar's attempts to upstage Tommy unintentionally interferes with his plans to rob Chef. She goes along with it when she is hailed as a hero for this.
    Sugar: I have no idea what anyone's talking about. But as long as everyone loves me and that bird is going to jail, I won.
  • Butt-Monkey: Harold in this episode. He gets his face broken by Sugar's stunt resulting in it being bandaged, gets drawn on the face cast by Izzy, learns about Tommy's true nature, gets hurt trying to warn Chef about him, and doesn't get recognized for stopping Tommy due to Sugar's actions.
  • Feathered Fiend: Tommy Oiseau, a robber parrot who has been pretending to become a pet to wealthy people to burglarize them.
  • Poor Communication Kills: The plot happened because Tommy overheard that Chef became king, when Chef meant that he was gifted a king costume from the King Steak Outhouse restaurant after eating a whole cow in seven minutes.
  • Stockholm Syndrome: Even after what Tommy tried to do to him, Chef still visits him in prison because he misses his bird sounds. However, Tommy has none of it.
    Tommy: (annoyed) You betray me. Don't come back here.
  • Unknown Rival: Even though it's clear to Tommy that Sugar is sabotaging his plans to rob Chef, he makes no attempt to stop her. This leads to his downfall when Sugar delivers a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown onto him, resulting in his arrest.
