Lincoln is interested in getting a video game, but it's rated L for "lethal". Wanting an older brother to hang out with, he asks Lisa to build him a Ro-Bro. At first, Ro-Bro is the brother he'd always wanted, but things get heated when it comes in conflict with Clyde.
Tropes:
- The '80s: Ro-Bro's entire personality was formed from Lisa watching countless films and TV shows from the 1980's. Deliberate Values Dissonance kicks in when he starts to set apart Clyde for being a nerd, and when he decides Lincoln isn't cool anymore, proceeds to bully him.
- Imagine Spot: Lincoln has three in this episode.
- The first involves Johnny's older brother being imagined as Lincoln's older brother, getting Deathfest 7 for him.
- The second involves Clyde coming over and getting a game called Fishing Fanatics 5.
- The third is a dream sequence in which Lincoln, Clyde, and Ro-Bro are inside Deathfest 7, but Clyde gets trapped in rubble and Ro-Bro forces Lincoln to abandon Clyde in the process.
- Percussive Maintenance: A non-mechanical variant. What ultimately fixes Lynn Sr.'s wrenched neck is Lincoln accidentally slamming the bathroom door in his face.
- Say My Name: In Lincoln's dream, he and Clyde scream each other's names as Ro-Bro drags Lincoln away from Clyde.
- Secret Test of Character: Ro-Bro turns out to have been an experiment made by Lisa to test Lincoln and Clyde's friendship.
- Stop Hitting Yourself: Ro-Bro grabs Lincoln's arm and hits him with it near the climax.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Lynn Sr. spends the episode with his neck wrenched, and despite wanting to take a nice herbal bath to help heal, his kids keep using it throughout the episode for their own purposes. Then Lincoln accidentally slams the bathroom door in Lynn Sr.'s face, fixing his neck.
- Toilet Humor: Lana goes to go #2 claiming she hasn't clogged the toilet yet. When Lynn Sr. wakes up, Lana tells him to stay out of the bathroom for seven hours, saying she clogged the toilet so bad it took seven hours to fix.
- The Voice: Mr. Grouse is only heard in this episode.
