After Vilgax sends more drones to retrieve the Omnitrix, Shining Armor gets hurt in the ensuing battle, and Flash feels responsible for his friend getting hurt and feels that as long as he has the Omnitrix, nobody is safe around him. Meanwhile, Dynamo Danger, a Hunter for his own Tv show, arrives in Canterlot intending to hunt the "dangerous aliens" and is infected by Vilgax's drone and turned into an alien-human hybrid, and is ordered by Vilgax to retrieve the Omnitrix.
- Advice Backfire: When Flash expresses guilt over Shining Armor getting hurt because of one of his fights, Shining advices him not to dwell on it and instead try to learn from it instead of repeating the mistake in the future. This leads to Flash deciding that nobody is safe around him and trying to isolate himself by leaving his home and everyone behind.Shining: When I said you needed to take steps to improve and make sure people didn't get hurt, I didn't mean completely blacklisting everyone you care about.
- Badass Boast: Vapaw sees a vision of Vilgax while Dynamo attempts to hack the Omnitrix. Vilgax warns him to be afraid of him, that there is nowhere he can hide from him and one day he will find him, retrieve the Omnitrix, and destroy him. Flash admits he actually is afraid of Vilgax now.
- Bittersweet Ending: Flash manages to defeat Dynamo Danger, and accepts he needs help from his friends and he can't isolate himself from everyone else out of fear they will get hurt. But Vilgax's threat to him is still on his mind, and he tells Trixie and Shining that he's afraid of what will happen next against him, with them telling him whatever happens they will be there for him.
- Call-Back: Flash returns to the warehouse Shining took him to back in "Animal Harm" when he first discovered Flash's secret, figuring it would be the best place to hide from everyone.
- Car Fu: Trixie saves Flash from Dynamo by ramming a police car into him, pinning the hybrid against a wall.
- Description Cut: In the opening scene, Vilgax declares that even if the drones find the Omnitrix, actually retrieving it is another story, since he believes whoever possess the Omnitrix has continued to prove to be a Worthy Opponent of "extreme danger and inspiring brilliance". The very next scene begins with Flash letting out a burp while snacking on some chips.
- It's All My Fault: Flash feels like it is his fault Shining got hurt, since the drones were after him and the Omnitrix specifically. He still feels this way despite Trixie and Shining assuring him it wasn't his fault.
- It's Not You, It's My Enemies: Flash feels that as long as he has the Omnitrix, Vilgax and other villains will continue to come after him, and not wanting his friends and loved ones to get hurt like Shining Armor was, or even worse, he decides to run away from home to stay away from everyone.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: After Dynamo is returned to normal he says he doesn't remember anything from before he arrived in Canterlot, thankfully meaning Flash's secret is still safe.
- Not Quite Flight: Volt-Edge demonstrates he can use his powers on pieces of metal as makeshift hoverboards.
- Swallowed Whole: The vision that Flash sees of Vilgax ends with Vilgax opening his mouth and swallowing him whole after warning him he will destroy him.
- Twinkle Smile: Shining swears he sees this happen to Dynamo Danger.
- We Will Meet Again: Vapaw sees a vision of Vilgax, with Vilgax warning him he is coming for him and the Omnitrix, leaving Flash terrified of facing Vilgax now.Vilgax: Listen to every word! Be very afraid. You cannot run. You cannot hide from me. I will find you. And when I do, I will retrieve my Omnitrix and destroy you!
- What the Hell, Hero?: Trixie and Shining both call out Flash for leaving everyone that cares about him behind and trying to handle things on his own.
