Defrosting Ice Queen: While Pepa is understandingly frosty over finding Antonio with Toothless the other day, by the time she confronts Hiccup about it she had since had time to calm down and hear everyone else's testimonies.
Don't Sneak Up on Me Like That!: Hiccup fails to go unnoticed by Pepa when he tries making his delivery, turning around to find her standing over him.
Dude, Not Funny!: With a glowering Pepa lording over him, Hiccup remarks "Nice weather we're having" in a failed attempt at levity. Considering Pepa's bad mood is making it rain, all it does is make her scowl (and the rain) harder.
Failed a Spot Check: Averted. Hiccup, to deliver a package, has to walk right behind Pepa, who scares him to death. He thinks he's snuck behind her and is in the clear...only to turn around and see her staring at him, furiously. She saw him, after all.
Good Parents: Pepa had every right to be freaked out when she saw Antonio with what she thought was a dangerous monster. But, once she sees that Antonio had told the truth about Toothless not being dangerous, she lets them play together (she even remarks that Toothless is kind of adorable).
