Tropes

  • Alcohol-Induced Idiocy: Amy and Bernadette go for a drink, and Bernadette stupidly lets slip that she thinks Amy can do better than Sheldon.
  • Hidden Depths: While Sheldon has a habit of revealing a few hidden depths every episode, he now reveals his relationship with Leonard has a hidden depth. Apparently they tap "good night" in Morse code to each other at night — though his demonstration just spells out "IR".
  • Person as Verb: Well, "Person as Adjective", but it's sort of the same, especially given the reply.
Bernadette: I just meant that you’re not married and your boyfriend’s kind of, Sheldon.
Amy: And your husband is extremely Howard. What’s your point?
