"Angels and Mermaids"
Amy is affronted that Cheyenne's recently released mother Brandi is determined to make Green Day the theme of Harmonica's birthday party. Dina and Glenn butt heads over the terms of her surrogacy. Jonah is discomfited by the fact that Kelly seems to believe in angels.

- Calling the Old Man Out: Cheyenne attempts to tell her mother that she can't tell her what to do, which Amy generally agrees with, and then Cheyenne goes off-script and announces that she's not going to college and that she's getting a back tattoo of Rocket Raccoon, among other things.
- Continuity Nod: Mateo reminds Marcus that there was a reindeer in the store during the Christmas Episode.
- Eskimos Aren't Real: A discussion over whether mermaids are mythical or extinct starts involving other such creatures — the staff apparently concludes ligers are extinct or mythical, and Marcus thinks reindeer aren't real.
- Parental Substitute: Over the course of Cheyenne's career, Amy has become something of a maternal influence to Cheyenne, which Cheyenne's mother acknowledges.
- Shout-Out: To Green Day, of whom Brandi and Jonah are fans.
