An enemy known as the "Supreme Destructor" makes themselves known. The Monkey Team wants to keep Chiro safe. When he refuses, they must reveal something no one saw coming at all…
This episode provides examples of:
- Chosen One: Chiro is revealed to be this.
- Came Back Strong: Mandarin, after his previous appearance is revealed to have been mutated by the Skeleton King, becoming muscular and in the size of a gorilla.
- Disney Death: Gibson is frozen solid while causing a diversion to help the team escape the hidden fortress. Chiro is able to thaw him out using the Super Robot at the end.
- Harmless Freezing: Gibson gets into this when escaping from the hidden fortress's security system. However, this spares him from being captured by Mandarin.
- Off with Her Head!: This happens to Jinmay at the start of the episode.
- "Ray of Hope" Ending: Mandarin and Sakko have captured the monkeys (minus Gibson) and left Chiro for dead under the Super Robot. However, Chiro manages to survive and with the Robot finds and unfreezes Gibson and they're determined to rescue the rest of the Hyperforce.
- The Reveal: We get two.
- Antauri reveals to Chiro that he is the Chosen One.
- The Supreme Destructor is Mandarin, now heavily mutated thanks to Skeleton King.
- Trojan Horse: Mandarin, as he brought Sakko with him hidden in his chest plate, which allows the latter to discreetly incapacitate the monkeys with brainwashing insects.
- Wham Episode: Jinmay is beheaded by Mandarin, Chiro is revealed to be the Chosen One, and the Monkey Team (sans Gibson) is captured by Skeleton King. The episode ends with Chiro and Gibson planning to mount a rescue.
- Wham Line: When Chiro locks the Monkey Team in the hidden fortress to keep them safe, Antauri drops a bombshell on him.Antauri: Chiro, you are more important than you realize. I was attempting… to tell you this before. Our first encounter; it was no accident that you found us.
Chiro: Of course it was. I wandered into the robot, woke you guys up, the rest is history.
Antauri: No, Chiro. You were destined to find us. You are the Chosen One. - Wham Shot:
- The meteor that crashes in front of the Super Robot is shown to be Jinmay in her mecha form. Specifically… her head.
- The Supreme Destructor’s helmet falls off, revealing him to actually be Mandarin.
- "You!" Exclamation: Chiro does this upon learning the true identity of the Supreme Destructor.
