When the Hyperforce winds up trapped in a dream, the team must rely on a mysterious man to escape, and in the process, discover the origin of the Monkeys...and their greatest enemy.

- Like Father, Like Son: The Alchemist tends to speak in a philosophical manner, much like Antauri.
- Luke, I Am Your Father: The Skeleton King is revealed to have once been an Alchemist who created the Monkey Team.
- Proverbial Wisdom: The Alchemist uses this way of speaking while guiding Chiro, Antauri and Nova through the dream lands.Chiro: This place goes on forever. Is there any way out?
The Alchemist: There is a doorway. A portal that bridges this world to the waking world.
Nova: Is it far?
The Alchemist: As far away as yesterday, and yet, as close as tomorrow.
Nova: Yeesh! He talks like you, Antauri.
Antauri: I believe he means this door is simply another memory. - Shapeshifter Guilt Trip: Skeleton King turns into the Alchemist and uses it against Nova.
- That Man Is Dead: Referenced when it's revealed that the Alchemist became Skeleton King, with both him and Nova clarifying it was the human he used to be that created the monkey team.
- Weaker in the Real World: Thanks to being in a dreamworld, Skeleton was able to effortlessly Curbstomp the entire team without even standing up. Once the Hyperforce awakens though, Chiro manages to drag Skeleton King into the waking world with him, where Skeleton King is slightly burned by the rising sun.Chiro: Not so powerful in the real world.
- We Will Meet Again: After the Hyperforce escapes his nightmare and Chiro manages to drag him into the waking world where he is hurt by the sun, Skeleton King is forced to retreat.Skeleton King: (As he vanishes) This is only the beginning. I'll return more powerful than ever!
Chiro: And we'll be waiting. - Wham Line: The Alchemist delivers one when Chiro asks why he created the Monkey Team and subjected them to Laser-Guided Amnesia.The Alchemist: Because of what I was becoming. I created you to protect the universe from a great threat. (With Skeleton King's voice) MYSELF! (Evil Laugh)
