Doc Ock uses her new device to shrink Team Spidey to the size of actual spiders. Despite their small size, Team Spidey eventually gets to the device to make themselves big again and stop Doc Ock.

- Didn't Think This Through: After Team Spidey is back to normal size, an angry Doc Ock decides to make herself bigger instead of shrinking the city. However, when she gets so big, she starts to get crammed in her lair.
- The Dragon: CAL is already Doc Ock's number one Octobot minion despite being smaller than Team Spidey when they are in their normal size. When the Spidey Team was shrunk, CAL is a lot bigger than them, and tries to stop them.
- Giant Woman: Doc Ock briefly becomes this as she uses her device to make herself bigger in size.
- Incredible Shrinking Man: The episode's plot is about Team Spidey getting shrunk to the size of actual spiders.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: If Doc Ock stopped to double check the switch on her size-changing device, she could have prevented herself from being tricked into making Team Spidey big again.
- Shrink Ray: Doc Ock's device shoots a ray that can either make things smaller or bigger, depending on the switch.
