When Clark witnesses Cyrus Krupp, an eccentric new student at Smallville High, heal a sick horse with his bare hands, he begins to believe that Cyrus may be from Krypton. Helen moves into the Luthor Mansion.

- Neck Snap: Happens to Kyle in the final act during his attack on Cyrus' transmitter tower. Fortunately, Cyrus heals him.
- Room Full of Crazy: Lex shows Helen the secret room where he keeps all the information and objects (including the wrecked Porsche from the pilot) relating to his obsession with the Kents.
- Save the Villain: Clark encourages Cyrus to heal Kyle after he snaps his neck.
- You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Clark's words to Cyrus as he urges him to heal a mortally injured Kyle.Clark: Cyrus, you can save him.Cyrus: They're here.
