As Rigby is finally about graduate high school, he has to come up with an inspiring speech, which makes Mordecai jealous that Rigby is becoming more successful than he is. Meanwhile, the park workers discover the true intention behind the month-long dome experiment.
- Brick Joke: The dandelion seed in the beginning of the episode reappears at the end... after the park has been sent to space.
- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with the Park crew (plus Eileen) being sent into space, leaving their fates uncertain until the next season.
- Downer Ending: The park crew and Eileen get sent into space, leaving Margaret (and C.J., even though she doesn't care about Mordecai anymore), Pam, Starla, and their families behind.
- Innocently Insensitive: As Rigby jokes about his upcoming graduation, he accidentally calls to attention how stuck in a rut Mordecai has been and how he'll probably beat him to graduating from college as well.
- Object-Tracking Shot: The opening shot of the episode follows a dandelion seed as it floats across the park, passes by various characters, before arriving next to Rigby, who accidentally swallows it.
- Rousing Speech: After a couple of false starts, Rigby's graduation speech ends up being one.
- Say My Name: As the park is flying off into space, a distraught Muscle Man shouts Starla's name to her, followed by Starla shouting Muscle Man's real name, Mitch, to him.
- Wham Episode: As the group is about to celebrate Rigby's graduation, they discover that the big red button they protected in an earlier episode is a launch button that sends them all into space.
