Mordecai and Rigby discover a crazy homeless man at the Park who is believed to be long-lost Adrenaline front man Ace Balthazar. When he doesn't remember who he is, the pair set out to help him regain his memory and reunite him with his bandmates.
I got a trope rush, and I think I'm gonna crash!
- Dead All Along: It turns out the real Ace Balthazar really did die and that Sir Gablethorp turned out to be a doppelgänger.
- Call-Back: The knight from "Eggcelent" reappears in this episode.
- Character Catchphrase: Ace's before he literally tears up the stage is "I've got an Adrenaline rush, and I think I'm gonna crash!!!"
- Cloudcuckoolander: Sir Gablethorp, coming from a medieval realm, is amazed at the most mundane of modern conveniences.
- Identity Amnesia: After a car crash, Ace forgot his identity and assumed a new one as Sir Gablethorp and the whole plot is Mordecai and Rigby helping him remember who he is. Subverted, it turns out the real Ace Balthazar died in the crash and that Sir Gablethorp is a really convincing lookalike.
- I Just Want to Be Loved: Sir Gablethorp just wanted to be accepted by society.
- Oh, Crap!: Mordecai and Rigby let out an "Uh oh." when they realize that the real Ace Balthazar was Dead All Along.
- Passing the Torch: After Sir Gablethorp destroys the set, Ace's ghost, impressed with his rampage, decides to let him be his successor.
- Produce Pelting: Sir Gablethorp has a tomato and other garbage thrown at him when he is revealed not to be the real Ace Balthazar.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Sir Gablethorp starts tearing up the set when everyone shuns him for supposedly stealing Ace's identity.
- Rockers Smash Guitars: Ace Balthazar's trademark is taking this up to eleven and smashing up the entire set during a show. When Sir Gablethorp does this during the climax of the episode, it convinces Ace Balthazar's ghost to dub him his successor.
- Shaming the Mob: Sir Gablethorp gives a "The Reason You Suck" Speech to the jeering crowd before going on his Roaring Rampage of Revenge.
- The Cuckoolander Was Right: It turns out Sir Gablethorp really came from a medieval realm.
