A boy called "Peanut Butter Kid" follows the Recess Gang everywhere, and it drives them crazy after being convinced he brings bad luck.

- Early-Bird Cameo: "Peanut Butter Kid" made his first appearance in "King Gus", but he was unnamed and actually talked.
- Here We Go Again!: After T.J. and the gang finally made "Peanut Butter Kid" leave, a girl who always eats ice cream starts following them and they ran for their lives, to avoid making the same mistake again.
- The Jinx: The Recess Gang believes "Peanut Butter Kid" is one, due to bad luck happening whenever he follows them. Even after telling the boy to go away, bad things still happen to them. They eventually realize none of it was his fault.
- Never Given a Name: "Peanut Butter Kid"'s name is never mentioned once. The same goes for "Ice Cream Girl" who appears at the end of the episode.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: The Recess Gang runs away from "Ice Cream Girl" to avoid everything they went through at the beginning with "Peanut Butter Kid".
- Shout-Out: The episode's title is a parody of the 1893 Harry S. Miller song, "The Cat Came Back".
- Stating the Simple Solution: After every attempt to get rid of "Peanut Butter Kid" failed, T.J. loses his temper and rants that they can't get the boy to leave them alone. Mikey states the one thing they haven't done yet: ask him to leave them alone.
