Postman Pat's Finding Day is the first episode of Postman Pat. It premiered on 16 September 1981.
It's Tom and Katy Pottage's birthday, but Katy is sad because her doll, Sarah-Ann, has gone missing. Pat agrees to find her, and ends up on a scavenger hunt all over town.

- Girls Love Chocolate: Pat considers picking up some chocolates for Katy as condolences for being unable to find Sarah-Ann. Immediately as he picks up the chocolate box, he finds Sarah-Ann tucked behind it.
- Lost Toy Grievance: The conflict kicks in when it's explained that Katy has lost her favourite doll, hence why she's sad on her birthday.
